An iterative regulatory process for robot governance

Ontology-Driven Financial Regulatory Change Management: An Iterative Development Process

Semantic technologies are claimed as a feasible solution to support many of the Financial Industry challenges, such as facing the constant regulatory changes across the countries. A first approach is to create international agreed ontologies for the financial business domain, and specifically in regulatory change management (RCM). In this scenario, to consider the financial business goals durin...

An Iterative Tâtonnement Process

A discrete time tâtonnement process is presented for reaching an equilibrium of an exchange economy. The process is based on updating the prices in proportion to excess demands of the commodities such that the new prices are positive and their changes are bounded. Global convergence conditions for the process are given and convergence is shown when the excess demand function has the gross subst...

An Adaptive Impedance Controller for Robot Manipulators

A desired dynamic behavior of constrained manipulators can be achieved by means of impedance control and various implementations of fixed controllers have been proposed. In this paper, and adaptive implementation is presented as an alternative to reduce the design sensitivity due to manipulator mismatch. The adaptive controller globally achieves the impedance objective for the nonlinear dynamic...

Planning as an Iterative Process

Activity planning for missions such as the Mars Exploration Rover mission presents many technical challenges, including oversubscription, consideration of time, concurrency, resources, preferences, and uncertainty. These challenges have all been addressed by the research community to varying degrees, but significant technical hurdles still remain. In addition, the integration of these capabilit...

Iterative Process for an α- Nonexpansive Mapping and a Mapping Satisfying Condition(C) in a Convex Metric Space

We construct one-step iterative process for an α- nonexpansive mapping and a mapping satisfying condition (C) in the framework of a convex metric space. We study △-convergence and strong convergence of the iterative process to the common fixed point of the mappings. Our results are new and are valid in hyperbolic spaces, CAT(0) spaces, Banach spaces and Hilbert spaces, simultaneously.
